Fortis Hospital, Manesar Organizes “Cyclothon 2.0 – Pedal for Kidneys” to Promote Kidney Health Awareness
Fortis Hospital successfully organized “Cyclothon 2.0 – Pedal for Kidneys” to promote kidney health awareness and encourage healthy lifestyle practices in Gurugram. The community wellness event witnessed participation from nearly 300 residents, fitness enthusiasts, families, and healthcare professionals. Senior doctors, including Dr. Ruchir Maheshwari and Dr. Sahil Bagai, actively participated and emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare, regular exercise, and early diagnosis in reducing the risk of kidney diseases.
The 6-kilometer cyclothon commenced from Fortis Hospital, Manesar, and concluded at Pavilion Ground Sports Complex, Sector-91. The initiative focused on spreading awareness about chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and other lifestyle-related health conditions.
Doctors from the Renal Sciences and Urology departments shared expert guidance on kidney care, hydration, balanced nutrition, fitness, and routine health check-ups. Through “Cyclothon 2.0 – Pedal for Kidneys,” Fortis Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to preventive healthcare, community health awareness, and promoting a healthier future for all.
