Dr. Dharmender Aggarwal

Dr Dharmender Aggarwal is a highly experienced, well-trained, large-volume and skilled robotic urology surgeon. He is a senior consultant in the field of urology, uro-oncology and robotic surgery. He completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College, Tamil Nadu, and MS General Surgery from the reputed Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Further, he did his MCh Urology from PGI Hospital, Chandigarh, and then worked for more than 2 years in some of the prestigious institutes in London, performing Robotic surgeries for urological cancers. He did his Fellowship in Robotic Surgery and uro-oncology from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, at St. George's NHS Hospital. He is a certified Robotic Surgeon from the European Robotic Urology Section (ERUS) based in Belgium. He is also certified from the world-reputed ORSI organisation in Belgium for the same. Dr Dharmender has performed over 950 robotic cancer surgeries of kidneys, urinary bladder, and prostate and over 6000 other urological procedures. Dr Aggarwal is an official Proctor/trainer with Intuitive Robotics and has helped establish robotic surgery programmes at many centres and hospitals across the country. He has served as a teacher and faculty of multiple robotic surgery programmes and meetings across the country. Dr Aggarwal is a high-volume robotic surgeon performing the highest number of robotic urology surgeries in North India. Trained extensively in London and Belgium, he brings a patient-centric approach from Europe to treat urological cancers and is credited with providing the world-class care to patients in North India. He has been very active academically as well and has participated and presented in various regional, national and international conferences. His area of interest lies in providing international standard treatment for cancers related to Urinary tract including kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, prostate, urethra, penis and testes.
