With an experience of over 20 years to his credit, He has rich experience in the field of Oncology and Palliative care. He is an alumni of University College of Medical Sciences from where he did his MBBS and Post Graduation in Medicine . He has also furthered his studies in Oncology from St. James Institute of Oncology UK & Medical Education from Dundee UK. He is also a proud holder of FRSM (London) & FRCP (EDIN). Dr. Nitesh has joined us from Max hospital Saket where he was working as Director Medical Oncology since 2011, previously he was associated with Prestigious London Oncology Clinic (Leaders in Oncology Care), Harley London and St James Institute of Oncology Leeds His key area of interest is QOL “Quality of life” of cancer patients and the effect of chemotherapy on the same. At LOC he is leading the QOL group along with Dr. Peter Harper to bring about a new dimension. He has also floated guidelines on various aspects of cancer including anti-emesis, neutropenic sepsis and management of anaphylaxis. He was invited as a visiting physician to the MD Anderson Cancer Center USA to share his deep understanding of cancer patient psychology and what effects QOL. HE is an MRCP and OSCE Examiner.
