Dr. Vandana Gupta

Dr. Vandana Gupta is a senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 28 years of experience in women's health, obstetrics and gynaecology. She is currently associated with Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, as Director – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, where she provides comprehensive care across a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions. Dr. Gupta completed her MBBS, Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (DGO) and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University. She has extensive experience in managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, reproductive health and general gynaecological conditions. She has been associated with Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh since 2012, initially serving as Senior Consultant and subsequently as Director – Obstetrics & Gynaecology since 2022. Prior to this, she worked with leading hospitals in Delhi, including Saroj Hospital, Springdales Hospital and Jaipur Golden Hospital. Dr. Gupta has a strong interest in high-risk pregnancy care, pre-conception counselling, women's reproductive health, preventive women's healthcare and cancer awareness. She is also actively involved in medical education and has been teaching DNB postgraduate students at Fortis Hospital. An active academician and professional leader, Dr. Gupta has served as Vice-President and Secretary of the Delhi Gynae Forum, North. She has participated as an invited speaker at professional forums and academic programmes and has contributed to peer-reviewed medical literature. She has also been recognised with several professional honours, including the Vishisht Chikitsa Award by IMA Rohini (2026), Rohini Ratna Award (2025) and Atulneey Chikitsak Award (2024).
