Ms. Doli Biswas, Chief Nursing Officer - Fortis Anandapur, Kolkata bagged the 2nd position in the lightning talk on Antimicrobial Stewardship: ‘A holistic approach toward Compliance’ at the prestigious 7th International Conference CAHOCON (Consortium of Accredited Health care organizations) at Hyderabad, 15th to 17th April 2023, under the theme “Leadership is the Key to Quality”. There were 1500 delegates who attended the conference and around 600 abstracts were submitted. The project enhanced the restricted antibiotics justification compliance from 72% to 96%. The teamwork for the successful implementation of AMS programme at Fortis Anandapur was projected during the presentation. This is supported by Dr. Arindam Chakraborty, Microbiologist & Infection Control Officer, Clinical Pharmacists, Clinicians and Team Nursing. Mr. Ashish Mukherjee, the Facility Director and the directors of various Specialties well appreciated the achievement.
