Celebrating Strength on Wheels: Fortis Noida Organises Women Riders Bikeathon to Mark International Women’s Day

Mar 08, 2026 to Mar 08, 2026

Noida, March 8th, 2026: In celebration of International Women’s Day, Fortis Hospital Noida, today organised a spirited Bikeathon, bringing together women riders to promote health, empowerment and community solidarity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 women riders from the group Angels & Roadsters, creating a powerful display of confidence, strength, and camaraderie.

The Bikeathon commenced at 7:30 am from the premises of Fortis Hospital Noida and covered a distance of approximately 8 kilometres, concluding at the hospital campus. The rally was flagged off by the women doctors of Fortis Hospital Noida, who gathered to encourage the riders and highlight the importance of prioritising women’s health and wellbeing. The event concluded around 10:00 am, with participants assembling back at the hospital campus to celebrate the success of the initiative and reaffirming the message of empowerment and wellness for women across the community.

The ride aimed to celebrate the spirit of women who are breaking barriers, pursuing their passions, and inspiring others through courage and determination. Participants rode through the city in a vibrant convoy, spreading the message of empowerment, safety, and healthy living.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohit Singh, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital Noida, said, “International Women’s Day is a reminder to celebrate the strength, resilience and achievements of women in every sphere of life. Through this Bikeathon with the inspiring riders of Angels & Roadsters, we wanted to promote not just physical fitness but also the spirit of confidence and independence among women. At Fortis, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that encourage women to prioritise their health, pursue their passions and inspire communities around them.”
