Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh Organises Walkathon on Organ Donation Day

Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh organised a Walkathon on Saturday, 2nd August 2025, to observe Organ Donation Day and raise awareness about the importance of organ donation. The event saw participation from over 500 individuals, including hospital staff, patients, and members of the community. The walkathon began and concluded at the hospital premises, covering a total distance of 3.1 km.

The initiative was held under the guidance of Mr. Mahipal Singh Bhanot, Senior Vice President – Fortis Healthcare & Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and was led by Dr. Naresh Kumar Goyal, Principal Director & Head – Cardiology & Heart Failure Programme. The presence and active participation of hospital leadership played a key role in encouraging awareness around this vital health cause.
